Key Insights
On per-person cruise spend, the market clusters strongly in the mid-to-upper range. The single most common band is £1,000–£2,000 per person, selected by 34.0% of respondents, followed by £2,000–£4,000 at 30.7%. Together, 77.3% of all respondents are targeting a per-person spend above £1,000 — a healthy figure that positions cruise competitively against premium land-based holidays of equivalent duration. Only 3% are targeting a budget of £500 or less, and 5% are undecided.
Duration preferences align naturally with spend bands: 41.4% of respondents prefer a 10–14 night cruise, which maps directly to the £1,000–£2,000 price bracket. A further 29.0% prefer a shorter 6–9 night holiday (typically £500–£1,500), and 15.5% are targeting extended voyages of 15 nights or more — a segment associated with premium spend and high satisfaction among experienced cruisers.
